Happy Holidays!!

As we spend time with family I sit back and thank the Lord for all that he has given me. I enjoy all the moments that we had during these holidays and remember the reason why we are celebrating them. I am so thankful for the greatest gift of all and that is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No gift in this world can compare and everyday I get joy out having communion with Jesus Christ. As I walk into a new year I want to continue to walk with him and strengthen the lines of communication with my heavenly father. I also want to continue to win the battle of the flesh and be guided everyday by the Holy Spirit.  I will continue to use this blogging platform to reach out to others who may not know Christ and also fellow Christians who are saved and do know our Lord and Savior. What is the world coming to??

Ask I continue to walk with the Lord I continue to look around and look at what is going on around me everyday. As I turn on the television I see a world in turmoil. Most of the programs on TV are reality based and the content is totally out of control. Sex, drugs, and outrageous behavior are the norm and they do not even censor out when people curse anymore. Slowly but surely  the enemy is trying to desensitize people all across the world. They have also seeped their way into the church with reality shows about preachers of LA. Why is the church changing to please the secular audience? I see the world going is the wrong direction and I continue to pray that everyone that doesn't see this will be able to see and not let these things have an influence on their lives. I see that a lot of household are made up of single parents and the many kids in this generation are raised one the television because their is only one parent and they have to work to provide for their kids.  The children are our future and we must protect them from these evil influences that are everywhere in our world today. Not only the television, we have music, the internet and also video games that can have a strong influence on our character. Each of these subjects I can talk about all day on and will in future posts. We as Christians must continue to spread the good news about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Some people have no idea about the LOVE that our father has for all of his children. We must also get back to loving one another to be that light in a very dark world. Jesus gave us the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT and we have authority over all that it evil in the name of JESUS CHRIST. Like I said before I want to make my father proud, see that we are in Sodom and Gomorrah and what we are doing now for the kingdom of God is being recorded in HEAVEN. So spread the good word about Jesus Christ because time is running out it was written.

Walking with the Father.

I have just recently started writing to begin to express myself and started this blog to talk about how I want to learn to walk like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ  did when he was on earth. My name is Lawrence and I am 34 years old and I am married with a wife and three children. I am a Christian and  I love the Lord with all my heart and all I want to do is make my father proud, all three of the fathers I do have. I read the bible and attend church to hear from my father to hear what he is trying to tell me to do next. I constantly study the gospels because I want to understand Jesus and what he wants from us being his children. I believe what the Lord has promised me and when he said that we as Christians will be able to do as he did and even greater that gets me excited. I would love the ability to heal, prophecy, and also cast out demons. These miracles give us the ability to expand the kingdom of God and lead people who are not saved to Jesus Christ.
 As I look at the United States and the churches I do not see what Jesus was talking about the spiritual abilities we have in being a Christian and that tells me that the enemy is at work blocking the blessings that God has promised us. In life we get so caught up on whats going on in our lives we soon think that we can do it all on our own and trusting in the Lord becomes less and less of a priority. The daily grind of work, the kids, and life can become overwhelming sometimes and I am learning to trust in the Lord all the time. I have to keep it simple and practice what the Lord has asked of me. I have to continue to love others, pray,  and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have to let that light of the Holy Spirit shine from the inside out. As I continue to walk with the Lord the blessings will come, ask and you shall receive is what the Lord said but he is not going to give it to me if I do not live according to His will. Jesus said the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak and in this blog I will  document my walk with the Lord and the constant battles of the flesh that happen to all of us. My goal of this blog is to start off with my thoughts and feelings about whats going on in the world today talk to others about their battles, reach out to people, spread the good word about Jesus Christ and also share the miracles, signs, and wonders that happen in my life.
